This is a unique opportunity for your players to experience not only the fun of playing small sided soccer, and also being able to improve their game both technically and tactically. Small sided soccer games will allow players to improve on all the technical parts of the game of soccer. Because there are less players on the field, each player will receive many more touches than they would receive in a full sized soccer match. Every technical part of the game in involved in a small sided soccer match, even shooting/finishing.
Scoring goals is the hardest part of playing the game of soccer. In this format, our U11 and up age groups will play 4v4 plus a goalkeeper. This will allow for tons of scoring chances in each match. Keepers and field players will receive an enormous amount of opportunities to improve the technical part of their game.
Small sided soccer also allows for many tactical decisions throughout the game. Because there are less players on the field, these decisions are less complicated and allow players more success. All individual and small group tactics can be performed in a more simplified environment for players.
Finally, its fun and the kids love playing small sided soccer. They get the ball more often and are constantly involved in the action.
