Role of Fitness in Youth Soccer...
Here are my recommendations on the role fitness training should play for our teams in the Kenton Soccer Association.  To read more about this topic click here.

Coaches, are you over coaching?
The following article talks about over coaching in youth soccer. Growing up, many of us were exposed to traditional American sports like football, basketball, and baseball. These sports are categorized as coach driven sports. Soccer is different, especially youth soccer, it is considered player driven. Basically what this means is coaches play a reduced role in decision making on the field, and act more as a facilitator. Players are given the responsibility to make their own decisions on the field. In our more traditional sports the coach is given that responsibility. Please take a moment to read this article to see if you are over coaching.
