Who Is Ken-Ton Soccer Association?

Ken-Ton Soccer Association is a volunteer organization comprised of Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda High School and College coaches, Licensed Travel Coaches, former Professional players, dedicated parents and children ages 4-19, sharing a common interest in the world’s most popular sport, SOCCER. Kenton Soccer Association is a member of the Buffalo and Western New York Junior Soccer League (BWNYJSL), New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA), United States Youth Soccer Association(USYSA), United States Soccer Federation(USSF) and the Federation de International Football Association (FIFA). On a local level we partner with the Town of Tonawanda Youth Parks & Recreation Department and are considered a sponsored club.

Which program is right for my child?

Kenton Soccer offers the following programs for both boys and girls ages 4-19 for the beginner, intermediate and advanced skill level player in a five step process.

Step 1: Micro Soccer (ages 4-10)
For the beginner and intermediate player looking to build their skills. Player development is emphasized. Learn to pass , dribble , shoot and understand the fundamentals of Attacking and Defending. This training program is the crucial building block and is highly recommended. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter sessions are available. Click here to learn more about Micro Soccer.

Step 2: Recreational League Soccer (ages 4-10)
For the beginner and intermediate player looking to utilize the skills learned in Micro Soccer and put them to the test in actual game competition. The amount of players on each team and the size of the field vary by age, in order to maximize the number of "touches" each player has on the ball. Step 3: Camps (ages 5 - 14)
For all skill levels. Our camps offer a fun atmosphere in which to learn the basics of the game as well as the more advanced techniques for the more experienced player. Summer and special holiday weeks are available. Special clinics are also provided throughout the year for Goaltending , Attackers and Defenders. Click here to learn more about our “camps”.

Step 4: Travel Soccer (ages 8 - 19)
For the intermediate and advanced player who have out grown recreational soccer, are looking to challenge themselves more and ready to make a greater time commitment.There are seperate and appropriate divisions in each age group for different skill levels. All coaches are licensed and certified. Most teams compete in the "entry" level travel league " Buffalo and Western New York Junior Soccer League" during the months of May , June and July. Step 5: Soccer Academy (ages 12-19)

Ken-Ton Soccer’s Mission

The mission of the organization is to promote interest and participation in the game of soccer among youth in Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda, to improve soccer skills and knowledge by offering coaching to all participants, to improve their physical and mental capabilities, to conduct a fair and equitable soccer and tournament competition, and to offer the expertise gained through the above activities to any and all other individuals or groups that are interested in the furtherance and development of soccer as a competitive sport.
