*The 11th annual "Just For Kicks" soccer camp will be held on Monday July 9th - Friday July 13th 2012 at Kenney Field. The camp is run by former professional soccer player Bobby DiNunzio. Bobby previously played 14 years of professional soccer, last with the Buffalo Blizzard. He was part of three championship teams and a 4-time league all-star during his career. He was inducted into Kenmore East's inaugural Athletics Hall of Fame and is also a member of Buffalo State College's Athletics Hall of Fame. Bobby is currently the boys varsity soccer coach at Amherst High School.
*This camp is designed for boys and girls of all skill levels, ages 4-14. The camp will offer a fun, yet challenging, atmosphere in which to learn the basics of the game as well as the more advanced techniques for the more experienced player. Passing, receiving, trapping, dribbling, shooting, heading, juggling, turning and moves to beat your opponent will all be taught throughout the week. Afternoon sessions will include ball skills work, sport specific training/nutritional plans and small sided games. Each kid will be grouped by age and or skill level.
*The cost is $125 for a full day (9am-3pm) or $75 for a half day (9am-12pm). Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt, a soccer ball, a handwritten progress report, lunch everyday and there will be a pizza party on Friday to end the week, courtesy of Gino's Pizza Place!
