Summer 2011 Recreational Soccer

Our popular summer recreational league program plays 8 games starting June 16th and running for 8 weeeks.

Games will be played on Thursday evenings, with one Saturday game.  U6 and U10 games are played at 6:00 pm.  U8 and U12 games are played at 7:30 pm.  Schedules may change if necessary.

Soccer is a game that is played during all weather.  Games are only cancelled during Thunderstorms or when in the opinion of the referee it is unsafe to play.  Some of the most memorable games your child will have are played in the rain!

  All games are played outdoors under FIFA rules (some rules are modified based on field size and player abilities).

This program emphasizes having fun and generating a love for the game of soccer.  We try to insure that every players receives equal playing time to increase "ball time".  Emphasis is the developement of individual skills, team work, and good sportsmanship.  Never on winning.

In the ideal game, everyone walks away with a smile, and nobody remembers what the score was.  Games are small sided as recommened by USSF (United States Soccer Federation) and USYS (United States Youth Soccer).
