Academy teams are normally selected from those players that are currently participating in our spring, summer, or fall recreational league.  The U8 academy teams are meant to be gender specific but if we do not get enough players for the program we will have a co-ed team.  The teams are normally selected over the summer.  This team will train once per week from November to July, and will play occasional friendly small sided games throughout the year.    

Our U8 academy program is a training program for players born in 2004 and 2005.  The philosophy of this program is player development. A strong emphasis on not only the development of soccer skills, but also the development of each player from a cognitive, social, and psychomotor standpoint. Locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative skills will also be developed, as players improve soccer skills.

Please note - Due to the tight scheduling of all gyms and fields in our area, we will be unable to reschedule any sessions that are cancelled due to poor weather conditions.  These cancellations are outside of our control and no refunds will be made.
